There aren’t that many exciting pictures to share with you from this month, as it was mostly filled with admin, and getting all the orders for my autumn brides done.
But, I would love to share one particular bespoke order for one of my September brides with you.
Holly was one of the first brides to come and visit the studio (more information on this option coming soon). She new she wanted flowers, but felt she wasn’t the type for a flower crown. She also loved the Idelina petal veil, but was looking for a two tier veil instead. Lastly, she was hoping to have a belt created that would match her headpiece.
After we spent some time going through her ideas, looking at pictures of her dress and trying on samples, she decided on five individual custom made peony style silk flowers & a two tired veil embellished with petals and pearls.
For her belt, we chose a crepe silk, a large flower matching the hair flowers, and to add some extra petals and pearls to match the veil.
Holly’s bridesmaids were going to wear floral print dresses in peach and pale yellow - and since it was going to be a September wedding we decided on warm rose and peach tones for the flowers, with pale pink stamens.
The result is a very romantic set of bridal accessories, that Holly will wear with a simple, flowing ivory lace gown. Hopefully, later this year I will be able to share some pictures from Holly’s wedding day with you!
